What is a Coalition? 
Coalitions connect multiple sectors of the community – including businesses, parents, media, law enforcement, schools, faith organizations, health providers, social service agencies and government – to collaborate and develop plans, policies and strategies to achieve reductions in the rates of consumption at the community level.

There are few things more important to our community than protecting the health and welfare of our children. Prevention is only effective when we get involved as a community. Whether it's advocating for changes in local laws or policies or volunteering at youth-focused events, we need your participation. Get involved by contacting your local community coalition!

Bristol Cares Coalition

Mission: Our mission is, “Creating a community where youth feel valued, have a vision for the future, a sense of self and belonging.” We are currently recruiting middle and high school students to join our Youth Prevention Task Force to help reduce underage drinking. Bristol Cares is always looking for new members, we meet the third Wednesday of each month.
