Staff providing case management services and their supervisors are required to complete all case management core trainings within 365 days of hire. This includes any staff who complete Continued Stay ASAMs and/or utilization reviews.

Core Trainings include:
-	Addictions 101 (Exemption eligible)
-	Substance Use Confidentiality – Online Module
-	Case Management Series – The online Case Management Overview training must be completed before the Case Management Skills training.
	-	Case Management Overview* – Online Module. All Case Managers and Case Management Supervisors must complete the Online Module by December 29, 2023, regardless of their date of hire and even if they completed the previous versions of Case Management Overview through TRAINPA
		AND
	-	Case Management Skills Training – In-person or Virtual
-	Screening and Assessment (exemption eligible)
-	Motivational Interviewing (required for staff hired on or after July 1, 2020)
-	The ASAM Criteria, 2013 – Online Module

If the Core Trainings are not completed within 365 days, the staff members will not be able to complete county assessments until all trainings are complete and LOCA completed after the 365 are subject to non-payment.
