HOPE Recovery Unit

HOPE Program

The H.O.P.E. (Helping Ourselves Prosper Eternally) Recovery Program operates in a dedicated male unit within the Bucks County Correctional Facility that was established in 2016. The program employs evidence-based cognitive behavioral curriculum and practices including Moral Reconation Therapy (MRT). This holistic approach is intended to modify behaviors by analyzing criminal and addictive thinking patterns, social interactions, and the physiological effects of drugs and alcohol. Participants can also personalize their program by enrolling in electives that address co-occurring disorders, men’s trauma, coping with anger, and parenting.
