How to dispose of sharps during take back day
Disposing of individual sharps? Simply place them into the collection container on-site.



If you collect your sharps in a container: Make sure they are placed in a heavy duty plastic container, like a bleach or laundry detergent container or a coffee can with a lid. The lid must be tightly secured to the container, and then sealed with heavy duty tape and marked as “sharps” or “needles.” Please do not bring sharps in a light-weight bottle such as a water bottle.
