H.O.P.E. Recovery Unit

The H.O.P.E. Recovery Unit (Helping Ourselves Prosper Eternally) was initiated on July 11, 2016 as a collaborative effort with BCDAC, Inc., Bucks County Correctional Facility and the Bucks County Commissioners.

There are currently 52 male participants living in a separate housing unit within the Bucks County Correctional Facility. These gentlemen receive intensive substance abuse education and cognitive behavioral interventions that encourage sustained recovery and harm reduction. In addition, the program focuses on Moral Reconation Therapy, grief and loss, trauma, parenting support, anger management, spirituality, mental health awareness, meditation, art and music therapy and yoga.
