Services are available to inmates, regardless of length of stay.

An incarcerated individual can access services by:

• Self-request (inmates write request slips “green slips”)
• Court referral (PO, Judge, etc.)
• Case Manager referral (if inmate reports a history of AOD abuse)

As part of the services available in the Drug and Alcohol Unit, inmates are assessed for treatment as part of their release plans. The Drug and Alcohol Unit will coordinate the referral to outpatient treatment or admission directly to a residential treatment center, depending on the recommendation.
